The Textile Engineering Department laboratories & facilities include

  • Spinning lab.: this lab contains a complete yarn production line.
  • Weaving lab.: this lab contains a number of weaving looms for the performance of experimental research works.
  • Knitting lab.: this lab contains different types of knitting machines.
  • Fiber, yarn, & fabric testing lab.: this lab contains numerous devices for the determination of natural and mechanical properties of fibers, yarns and fabrics.
  • Computer application lab.: this lab contains 20 computer devices for the training of the students on the mathematical models applied in the Textile industry.
  • Composite material lab.: this lab contains machines for the production of 3-D components used in the production of composite materials.
