Sanitary Engineering Department is related with the study of drinking water and water usage in all purposes of daily life and industrial aspects as well as all relevant articles and work related to the collection of sewage, industrial and wastewater treatment in all its forms and the re-usage of treated water, and the collection and filtering of solid waste of all kinds. The department also teaches material relating to the environment and the maintaining of a clean environment free from air and noise pollution and hazardous waste. The safe disposal of as hazardous waste is also being taught. The department also teaches how to deal with isolated areas, which do not have sewage networks.
