The production engineer is a versatile engineer in nearly all types of industries. He is involved in design and operation of manufacturing processes, production planning, management, and total quality management.
And so our undergraduate program is designed to furnish graduates of the department with adequate analytical and practical skills in various fields including manufacturing technology, production quality, mechanical design, materials technology, engineering measurements and industrial engineering.
The undergraduate curriculum is structured to cover the following fields of study: Industrial engineering, production planning and control, ergonomics, engineering economy, machine tool testing and product design and inspection, robotics, flexible manufacturing and automation, measurements and quality control, engineering materials and material science, failure analysis and fault diagnosis, machine dynamics, material forming and removal processes, casting and welding.
