The EME Program Outcomes are:

  • Use computer-aided drafting or design tools to prepare graphical representations of electromechanical systems.
  • Use circuit analysis, analog and digital electronics, basic instrumentation, and computers to aid in the characterization, analysis, and troubleshooting of electromechanical systems.
  • Use static’s, dynamics, strength of materials, engineering materials, and manufacturing processes to aid in the characterization, analysis, and troubleshooting of electromechanical systems.
  • Use computer programming languages for operating electromechanical systems.
  • Use advanced topics in engineering mechanics, engineering materials, and fluid mechanics for applied design, operation, or troubleshooting of electromechanical systems.
  • Use basic knowledge of control systems and other electronic devices for the applied design, operation or troubleshooting of electromechanical systems.
  • Use differential and integral calculus, as a minimum, to characterize the static and dynamic performance of electromechanical systems.
  • Function effectively in teams.
  • Communicate effectively using various communication modes.
  • Use appropriate management techniques in the investigation, analysis, and design of electromechanical systems.
  • Recognize the need for and be able to pursue professional development and lifelong learning.
  • Realize professional, ethical, and social responsibilities, and commit to quality, timeliness and continuous improvement.

  • Understand the diversity and knowledge of contemporary professional, societal and global issues.
