Current Funded Projects

The Department of Computer and Systems Engineering manages the following projects:
  • Multicast mobile Internet protocol with fault tolerance support (finished) This project was funded with the US – Egypt joint board on scientific and technological co-operation (NSF grant)
  • VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) This project was funded with the US – Egypt joint board on scientific and technological co-operation (NSF grant) and aims at developing redundant traffic encoding and marking scheme for voice-over-IP quality-of-service
  • EAS (Educational Administrative System) This project is funded by the Higher Education Enhancement Project (HEEPF) and aims at computerizing the whole management offices of the Faculty of Engineering and therefore replacing tedious paper work.
