The department has 4 basic labs for the undergraduate students.

In addition there are 3 labs for B. Sc. Projects and graduate research which are moderately equipped with some basic equipment (DTA, spectrophotometer, electrochemical techniques, power supplies, stirrers, water baths, mass transfer cells, ovens and furnaces….).

Moreover there is one lab containing setups constructed by B.Sc. students during their study of the B. Sc projects. This lab mainly contains equipment of biochemical engineering for pollution control and abatement.
